Too much Halloween!! Yuck!!

On Wednesday my throat started feeling weird. I couldn't tell if it was going to get scratchy or go away. On Thursday it was definately scratchy and my girls were miserable with a cold and Jared said he had a scratchy throat too. GREAT!!!! My family was in town and I really wanted to see them. Nate and Jacque came over on Friday and my girls weren't too bad. At about midnight we heard Eva whining. More like sighing but Jared decided to check on her and she had a fever. We gave her meds and she slept until about 7:00. She woke up smelling like throw up and was sick with the flu and the cold. Not fun! The next two days Jared held her while he watched football all weekend when she wasn't sleeping or in the tub. It's so hard to take care of two sick babies when I'm feeling so yucky!!I'm so grateful that Jared was there to help. It's so sad to see my kids so sick too. They seem so helpless and wonder why they feel this way. Saturday afternoon Grandma called and said they were heading to Cabella's with Brenden and kids and the girls were so whiny we decided to get them out of the house. They are always so much better out of the house. We then headed to grandma's and she said she came down with the same cold at the same time we did. It must have been the Halloween bug we picked up together. What a miserable weekend we all had (except Juel, how did he luck out?). I'm glad we are all starting to feel better!


Too sick to eat.



My wonderful husband spending hours on the couch holding my sick little girl. :( He was so good with her while I cooked, cleaned, did a ton of laundry and got a few naps in when I could to try and feel better myself. He took care of her blowouts and bathed her a few times. Thanks honey!!




Juel had lot's of fun playing with his cousins!! Thanks Ryan & Jack!! Happy birthday!!



I had to take a picture of this face. Juel pulls it when he's in trouble or gets his feeling hurt. I can't help it but it cracks me up. He'll hold this face forever or until he decides he's happy again. Juel's watching me post this and he asked if that was him. He almost didn't recognize himself with a smurk on his face. Kind of funny.
