Thanksgiving Dinner

Here we are eating the big meal. It was so nice to see all of my cousins and it was quite the adventure actually getting to eat! We got the food all out ready to serve and decided to snap a picture of the Holt gang and we got what we thought was all of us (close to 100 people I think) posed and ready and realized my Aunt wasn't there. We found out she was on her way. So while we were waiting Jacquelyn talked to us for a bit then Dad gave the blessing on the food and made it extra long hoping that by the time he was done my Aunt would be there. In the mean time our dinner was sitting out on the table getting cold. When my dad finished the blessing my aunt walked in the door and we continued with the picture and dinner. I got a good laugh out of that one! We filled up the entire gym. Then we made some cute crafts and I wish I would've snapped a picture of Juel making his. He made a sticker nativity scene, a christmas bead necklace, and a turky puppet. Helping him make these brought back so many memories of when I was a child, sitting in that same room in the church with my cousins and we would make gingerbread houses out of graham crackers, turkeys out of gum drops and toothpicks, and we would have cornucopias made out of waffle cones and runts. Now my little Juel gets to create memories like mine. This is my traditional thanksgiving and probably the biggest one I know. I've never heard of other families having this many people get together for thanksgiving dinner. I love it and I wouldn't have it any other way!

So here is the big group! I stole this off of my cousins blog and this picture made me laugh because a lot of the men look really grumpy in this picture and I think you know why!! Hahaha!
