I often feel like all I do all day is pick up after my family. Seriously!!! Sometimes I take a day and don't pick up a dang thing because I get so tired of it and at the end of the day my house becomes a disaster. My girls have been so bad lately. I'm going through another hard stage with them. It's been fun for a while but as always it doesn't last. This picture is from my small kitchen floor. And it is always collected from the table area. This is after just one day, that's three meals for my twins and most of it ends up on the floor. Is this normal? If I don't sweep after every meal and let's face it, who wants to do that, then this is what I get at the end of the day. And the worst part is the girls think they get to have dinner again with their servings left on the floor. They don't understand "no" and "don't do that" in a stern voice and sometimes I want to scream so loud at them. An Any ideas on teaching them to not through their food on the floor?

If anyone leaves you ideas, please let me know. It's the same at my house, sista!!! I told Josh just yesterday that I wanted to invent a big that slips on over a childs arms and buttons up the back and somehow connects to the table so it catches atleast some of it. Wouldn't help with the throwing, though! Good luck!!
Afraid I have no advice here but just have to smile cause it's always good to know you're not the only one. Sometimes as moms we have a bad day or week and just want to scream! If it makes you feel better our apt has carpet under the table. Double yuck! They are so cute though, your girls. Just remember when they are older that they will do ALL the work.
I agree with you. My pile is that big at my house and my house is barely over 600 square feet and that's without my baby eating on his own. I try to hand feed my kids a lot, just so I have less to clean up after them including keeping clothes clean. Just think empty you would feel if we didn't have these messes to clean up after because we didn't have our families around anymore. Dr. Laura talks about it on her talk show when a woman calls in complaining about how her husband takes his clothes off everywhere and doesn't pick up after himself. She asks her, how would it feel if he was gone so you didn't have to clean up after him anymore. These messes are just reminders that we have our family around whom we love so much. I'd rather have the mess to clean than be without my family.
Haha-- totally my house!
Hang in there sis, I feel like I have twins with Jaylie. She is such a Mess maker too. She is getting a little better the older she gets. I like the comment that we are blessed to have our little ones and husbands to clean up after because it would be so sad if we didn't have them any more to clean up after. Love ya sis, can't wait to see you over thanksgiving.
