Pumpkins, cookies, & fun!!

We carved our pumpkins Monday for family night. Jared is such a good sport. He hates pumpkins and everything to do with them but every year he helps Juel carve one then I'll carve some to add. This year I bought a battery operated tea light candle that changes colors. Its kind of fun and makes them look even scarier. My pictures are blurry though because it was so dark when I took them.






Then on Tuesday we went over to Jacuelyn's because she wanted to carve pumpkins but we were pumpkined out so I made sugar cookies to decorate instead. We had a lot fun hanging with them and eating yummy cookies. Thanks!


On Wednesday the youth in our ward put on a Halloween carnival for the kids. Juel was so excited to get in his costume {Darth Vader}. He even has the loud breathing down to a T! They told stories and played the traditional games. Juel got to be in his friends group which was fun for him. The girls got a lot of attention in their cute and cuddly costumes. They are so fuzzy and warm it made me sweaty to hold them! Anna keeps attacking Eva and trying to eat her like she's a stuffed animal. Poor little thing. Anna's a bunny & Eva's a lamb. When we got home Juel got really sad and asked "What are we doing here?" I said it's time to go get ready for bed. Then he replied but what about going to school and trick or treating? Poor kid. He was so bummed when I told him it wasn't really Halloween yet. :( I'm not sure what we'll do tonight but I can't wait until tomorrow!!!!! Have a Happy & safe Halloween everyone!!!
