Happy Birthday Eva & Anna!!!!

Today we celebrated the twin's birthdays! Their birthdays were actually on Thursday but I figured Jared would be working all day and I wanted to have a dinner with our families so I decided to wait until today. I love celebrating birthdays and watching the joy fill my kids. I didn't think that at one it would be very fun but it totally was!!! They were such good nap deprived babies! They loved every minute of all the attention and fun. We also got a call last night that grandma and grandpa Holt and Nate and Jacque were coming up just for the party!! So sweet!

Here they are opening the gift that we got them. We decided not to spoil them this year since they are only one! I did buy them some new clothes though but chose not to wrap them. I can't help myself when it comes to clothes!

We got them a ride-on scooter horse and a baby stroller they can practice walking with. Eva loved them both and would sit on the horse all day trying to figure out how to move it...but Anna was a scared little kitten. She's starting to warm up to the walker and will push it on her knees, but she won't sit on the horse yet.

These next pictures were taken at the park where we had the dinner. We had Lot's of family come and support us. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! It wouldn't be much fun without you! We ate food. Sang Happy birthday to the girls.....tricky singing one song in a group and not knowing which name to say first. I might try separate songs next time. Ate cake, one chocolate, one white, with yummy ice cream. Delicious! The girls thought so too. You couldn't even see Anna's mouth in the pictures it was so covered in chocolate!! We opened some very thoughtful presents from the family, again, Thank you! Today was a wonderful day. It was a perfect celebration for my little princesses!!!

I still can't believe my babies are 1! Even though there are two and I couldn't wait for their first year to be over just because I knew it would be easier it's still just as sad as ever. I still want to cry about it. I get teary eyed just thinking about it. You girls have brought so much joy into my life and I am so very grateful I got both of you at the same time. You both have been such good babies! I could alway take you shopping when I needed to get out and you are so good in the car on the long trips. You've slept through the night at 2-months-old. You've been amazing to care for and so much fun to watch you grow!!! Anna is so sweet and loving. She gives me loves and kisses whenever I want! She is also a major mama's girl which I absolutely love! She'd rather have me than anyone else and it's a good feeling. Eva is so patient when Anna takes her toys and pulls her hair. She's so small and can't fend for herself much but she moves on to the next toy or idea she has. She is so expressive with her face and loves to dance and jump. Talks almost non-stop. Her favorite word is mama. But she's not the one to give me hugs and kisses when I want. She just tries to say it and that's good enough for me! They are really starting to play with each other now. The other day I caught them each with a blanket playing peek-a-boo with each other and laughing their heads off! So funny! They also love to kiss each other too. They find it quite funny as do I! I love you Eva & Anna!!!!!!
