You can make suckers??

On one of our many outings this week to entertain Eva, I took the kids to a toy and candy store. They had a lot of cute old fashioned toys which I thought were a little over priced but way fun! They had all the stuff you need to make suckers and I told Juel that I used to make suckers when I was younger. He got all excited and wanted me to teach him so I got everything I needed for them. Today he couldn't wait to make them. I'm not sure what he had pictured in his mind but he kept asking me if they will look like fake suckers. It was a lot of fun but it's been years since I've made them. I added a little too much food coloring and that's why they are so dark. The kids love them and Juel thinks they are so cool! Now we can make our own suckers anytime we want.
