We had a festive St. Patrick's day this year. I usually forget about it but with Juel in school, it made me get in a festive mood. He picked his bright green church shirt out because it was the brightest green he had. Hopefully no one teased him as bad as his dad did when he saw what he wore. We all wore green and ate green food. Macy's bakery had green bread so I made grilled cheeses sandwiches for lunch then I made green cupcakes for an after school snack. Juel was bummed that they didn't have a party at school for the special occasion. He was so into it!
We also picked up a used swing set off of KSL and put it together the night before so all the kids wanted to do all day was play on it. It's perfect for the girls. It has the swings that fit them great! I just need to add one more baby swing and we're set. I love shopping on KSL!
I just had to throw in this cute picture of my girls dressed in their new outfits for spring. We are loving this weather!

Cute, cute girls! I love all the festive green! Your lucky your kids will eat green food. I learned last year, that some things are better left untried!! What a great find on the swing set!
I LOVE your post! That girls are so dang cute and juel's shirt is awesome! My kids hate wearing button up shirts, so when you see them ever wearing one it's because I MADE them. And after making a HUGE fuss about it.....I want a swing set! I've been loving the weather, we sure do miss you guys down here. The green food looks YUMMY! You've always been such a good mommy!
So fun. I agree with Juel, the schools should have a party for St. Patty's Day, it's one of the best holidays of the year. The girls look cute in their summer outfits. I didn't do any green food this year :( but it was a tradition growing up. My mom even did Sunday dinner once, my dad wasn't too happy about the green potatoes and gravy.
the swing set is even cooler than I expected it to be!
