We enjoyed Christmas at home again this year. I love to be home for Christmas!! Christmas eve we had family home evening and read the Christmas story and sang carols with everyone. We dressed the kids up hoping to make it more meaningful for them. Asia-Mary, Melissa-baby Jesus, Juel shepherd, Kyler-Joseph, Anna, Eva & Xander-Angels. We invited Grandma & Grandpa Moody over to open presents and at the last minute we had two of Jared's brothers come, Aaron & Justin and their families.The kids opened their fist present (jammies of course) then they went to bed very willingly. The next morning Juel woke up coughing around 7:30. He came in and asked for a drink and some medicine. I asked if he'd seen downstairs yet and to my surprise he said no. He almost didn't even sound excited but he's just a patient boy who doesn't mind waiting. Of course as soon as he saw what santa brought he got very very excited!! Santa brought him a lego table and legos. He also got a batcave, clothes, and ton's of duplos. It was fun to have a few extra kids around. Juel and Kyler got a long really good and enjoyed sharing their presents with each other. Couldn't ask for more than that right! Our girls were really fun to watch too! They loved every present they got including the pair of gloves, lip gloss, & sipper cups Santa left in their stockings! Santa brought them their first babies and they were trying so hard to rip them out of the boxes (darn twisty ties)! The also got a piano & activity table. They got really hungry quick though and turned kind of whiny but they still loved it. Juel was so excited about his lego table and legos but we ended up going to Grandmas house for most the day and he couldn't play with them. He went into minor depression about it and wouldn't play with Kyler very much. I felt bad. The next day we headed to Pine Valley for the weekend so he still didn't get to play with them. We had a lot of fun there except for me who got sick with a sinus infection which I'm still dealing with unfortunately but it was nice to see the family.
For New Years Eve we went to the Moody's for a night of food and games. When we woke Juel up to leave he was upset I didn't wake him up to count down. I didn't even know he wanted to do that. We had discussed it earlier and he knew he would be asleep. I felt kind of bad about it. Next year we'll have a special count down for him before he falls asleep. On New Years day we relaxed for a while, took down Christmas, drove to Heber to check things out as a potential living spot, and had dinner at my sister's house with my family. It was fun to see everyone I never get to see and especially my nephew TJ who was home from the Navy for a few weeks. We had fun but called it an early night after being so tired!
Well that sum's up the holiday's at our place. Hopefully it won't take me so long to post again!!!

WOW! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! That is such a cute picture of them dressed up, cute idea only if we ever want to do that we will have to spend Christmas with some body who has a girl. I don't think any of my boys would be up to playing Mary. LOL! Thats a cute picture of the girls holding hands, they are going to be the best of sisters.
