My family had a tradition growing up for Memorial Day and every single year we went up to the Holt's Cemetary in Holt's Canyon and we would clean up around the graves and get rid of the weeds then we would go up to the water fall and have a picnic. This is the first time in a few years we weren't camping so we headed up with my Aunt and Uncles and helped clean up. It was fun being with my cousins and family and good for the kids to see and help us.
After we were done at the cemetary then we met the Moody's at Calf Springs for a picnic.
The twins had just woke up and wouldn't smile for anything!
Look at all of these cute cousins! I love that my kids have a ton of cousins on both sides!
Jared and I took them on a hike to find the geo-cache we knew was up on the hill. Once we found it the kids got so excited and wanted to empty it out even though it was mostly junk. The best thing in there was a quarter. Xander wanted the one used flip flop some one left in there. It cracked my up!
Then we headed back to Stacie's for games and more food.
It's been a crazy busy month but it was fun to end it with a great day and great company!
