Mini Spring Break

Juel went on a little spring break for school and Jared needed to do some work up north so we planned to spend the weekend at my sister's. Jared ended up not working so we headed to the zoo. It was a beautiful day! The next day it was snowing!

The baby giraffe and baby elephant were so fun to watch!

Juel really got into the reptiles and spider area. I couldn't get him to come to the other side where all the cute little animals were. The girls of course were glued to the cute little animal side.

We were so glad to have Aunt Chantel with us! Especially since Jared talked on his phone for like an hour. We were able to keep moving! Thanks Chantel!

The peacock entertained us for a few minutes. We walked up to it and it fanned its feathers for us. How nice! The turkeys we a lot of fun to. I had never seen or heard the turkey mating call and boasting all of their feathers. I was amazed. One kept getting distracting would would start eating the all of the feather would lay flat. Then it would fluff it all up again. Very Beautiful!

We let the kids play for a few minutes before we decided to let them pick out a souvenir and leave. For some reason I didn't get a picture of what they picked out. It was a lot of fun letting them get whatever they wanted and they only spent $10 each. The girls picked out a swinging monkey and a lolipop. Juel picked out his favorite crocodile grabber and a lolipop. We all had lots and lots of fun. Anna fell right to sleep. Eva fell asleep reading this book and I thought it was so cute I had to take a picture.
That night we went to Grandpa and Grandma Moody's for dinner and games. We got to hold and kiss Laura's brand new little baby, Pressly. The next day we went shopping for some new spring clothes and had a wonderful dinner and night of games with my brothers and sisters. We had a wonderful little break.
