I can't believe he's 6! Time sure has flown by! It seems like yesterday that my little miracle baby joined our family and this month I've reflected on how much joy he's brought to us during our trials! He's still the biggest momma's boy ever but I wouldn't have it any other way! Unfortunately this year he woke up on his birthday pretty sick with a chest, head, & eye cold! He never gets sick! He had one sick day from school this whole year but my poor unlucky boy was pretty sick on his bday. He asked if we could cancel his birthday for another day. At least we weren't having his party that day. He chose to have a Lego party in Enterprise with all of his cousins & friends. It was so nice to get out of the city for the weekend although we didn't want to come back! His party was a big hit with the kids. We had a lego building water balloon relay. A lego treasure hunt, & a jar full of legos for a guessing game. Then we had hotdogs and chips for lunch. Then of course we had Lego birthday cake (thanks for the help Melinda! ) and icecream. We made some fun lego sacks filled with lego candy, snacks, & toys. It was so nice to just relax in the sun and let the kids have fun with their waterguns.

Looks like you guys had a great time. It is good to come home, isn't it. Being sick on your birthday is no fun at all. Looks like he enjoyed his party though.
