We finally got to take a mini family vacation! The kids kind of lost out on a summer because Jared and I were working so hard all summer long. We ended up going to Lake Las Vegas and we loved it there! I didn't even know such a thing existed! It was so beautiful! Our Resort was right on this large lake east of Las Vegas and it was just down the road from where Nate and Jacque live. Best part...no casinos in sight!

We took the kids to Rainforest Cafe...
Passed some superheroes on the strip and decided we'd be ok if we never go on the strip ever again!!! It was so dirty and gross!

Our favorite thing to do was swim in the awesome swimming pool. We all got our tan on while everyone at home was losing theirs.
They had a some pet turtles that were fun to watch by the pool.
When we were leaving, Eva really wanted to carry the big suitcase out. People probably thought we were mean parents making her do that. It was really heavy! She's a tough little girl!
Before we went home we took the kids to see hoover dam.
It was kind of pricey but Juel and Jared love this kind of stuff!

I think the twins had fun too! I thought they would get bored with the tour but they didn't.
