We went to the Rupps a couple of days before the 4th and had a barbeque and lit fireworks.
These two still freak me out with these things!
The kids were ready for some big fireworks, little did they know it would be a show they would never forget!
The cheap but not so cheap fireworks started shooting out of the sides! We were running for our lives! It was so crazy. I felt like we were in a war zone and we were so lucky no one got hurt. This chair however can't say the same! Good thing no one was sitting there when this happened.

I love the program and races on the fourth. They are so fun and way less crowded than the 24th.

Eva was so proud of Juel and gave him a big hug after he crossed the finish line.
Another fireworks show!
I was so scared for this. I don't think I will ever be the same. And my kids too! They turned out ok but there was once me and the kids got scared and we took off running even though nothing happened. I think we have PTSD when it comes to fireworks now. Here's where Anna finished watching the fireworks and if they got big she would close the door.
We had a great time with lot's of family and food and fun.
