Juel's Birthday Week

I found an idea to have a birthday week celebration. So the week before his birthday we did something every day that was Juel's choice. On Sunday we made his poster because he was the star of the week in his 1st grade class.

For FHE he wanted to go riding up at the reservoir and roast hotdogs with the Rupp's. The weather was looking bad but we braved the wind and the dark clouds and had an awesome time!

Then on Tuesday Jared was gone so we rented a movie of Juels choice and had a movie night.

Wednesday he got to spend time with Jared while I was gone. Then on Thursday we had Pizza night. Friday was the day he'd been counting down to all week because thats the day Shrek the Final Chapter came out. So we headed down to the theater and treated him to McDonald's.

Then on the eve of his birthday we waited for him to fall asleep in his bed with his old blanket and while he was asleep we snuck in and moved him on the floor while we put new bedding on his bed and I changed his poster to one I made with his name on it. All Star Wars of course because that has been his addiction this last year! We moved him back into his bed without any signs of movement from my deep sleeper! I couldn't wait to see his reaction in the morning!

Does he seemed spoiled or what! We had such a fun week as a family though created some good memories! I love my Juel!
