Juel's first taste of sports

I'm finally an official soccer mom! Juel has never been into anything but indoor stuff, Legos, movies, puzzles, computer. Me, being the family cheerleader and cheering for my sibblings all growing up, couldn't wait to cheer for my own kids at sports. So when Juel told me he wanted to play soccer with his friends we signed him up, decked him out in soccer gear and wished him luck. It's been a lot of fun watching him even though he always ends up getting hurt at one point in the game. Last week he even got a black eye. I told him it just meant he was playing good. He was a little nervous about the game today and in the first two minutes he got kicked in the head and was crying but after a minute he ran back out there and played his best. I'm so proud of my soccer player!

Playing Goalie, Caught one, Awesome! & missed one, Darn!
The little cheer squad.
It's still swollen and not very black in this photo but on the third day it was pretty dark. Everyone at school asked him how he got it. What an athlete!
Half time snacks with the team. Go Real's!
