We weren't able to attend the funeral but we met the family in Delta for the burial services. It was a beautiful service and the A.F. Band played and it was amazing! It was heart wrenching to know what they had been through. The best thing about a funeral is it brings the family together. It was so nice to see all of the Moody Aunt's & Uncles together. We saw a lot of cousins there too. It was a beautiful Cemetery and a beautiful day. Here are a few pictures from the day.
This is Juel by Grandfather's Head stone. Jared told him this is what his name will look like when he dies (thanks Jared!)
This is a pictures of the cousins & their families.
This is us singing to Grandmother (far left) and the Aunts and Uncles. They loved it so much we had to sing five primary songs for them! By accident we happened to gather around the headstones of two cousins that had already past on. It was just an amazing day filled with lot's of love.
I loved listening to the Aunts and Uncles singing. They sounded like angels. They were standing around Grandfather's grave and I could feel his spirit there with us. This isn't the best quality of film and because Jared recorded it we didn't get a picture so I'm hoping someone will post a picture of them all so I can get one.
I also received some other bad news about a different family member this week. And then my little Anna almost got ran over by a car. I'm so grateful my mom was in tune with the spirit and stop before anything happened. On a good note though, I have a new niece! Baby Kate was born today and I had the most beautiful day spent with family. I am so glad I have the gospel in my life and that I know our families can be together forever!
